Help me find a helmet...

i just bought this 98 suzuki katana 600 and its RED. I would like to get an inexpensive helmet that matches in color.
Any suggestions?

Just make sure it's SNELL approved!! I bought an HJC and when I showed it to my mechanic the first thing he did was look for the Snell approval. I talked to other people that day and and heard the pros and con of Snell and non Snell approved helmets. You're worth every penny that u spend for protection. The very next day I bought a Scorpion SNELL approved helmet. I keep the HJC for when I ride someone on it.
Be safe.

A guy who likes to motocross told me the difference between a DOT and a SNELL approved helmets. He was first wearing a DOT helmet, he got thrown from his bike and was knocked out for 15 minutes. He was thrown the same way with a SNELL helmet and he was shaken up but he got back on the bike and kept riding, that testimony and what the mechanic said did it for me. I am not gonna try to find out the hard way.
I would rather not find out the hard way either
i was just under the impression that the SNELL approval requires the helmet to be more dense when a concentrated load is applied making the helmet absorb less of the impact and your head absorbing more. correct me if im wrong please

If you're really concerned about safety, get yourself a Suomy. The foam inside is shaped like big waves so that it disperses impact. BTW, plan on spending $$$.
