I got a 99 ex auto throwing code 1, O2A - Oxygen sensor #1 I tried replacing it with 3 other sensors when I drive for like 2-4 minutes the code comes back...
I doubt all 3 of my sensors are bad.. HELP

 

Where did you get the O2 sensor from? Did you have to do any splicing?

 

all of them are on an extension cuz the wire comes from behind the intake manifold

 

yea I just tried a known working sensor off of my EG took - off for like 15 min, connected it, drove for like a minute, took it to 7k in 2nd and the light comes on... code 1.... what to do?

have you modified the fuel any? changed ecu's? i believe the CEL will show up for the O2 if your A/F is too rich or too lean. could be wrong though.

Rechecking your wiring may be a good idea.

 

Check for continuity of all the wires to rule out a break, and if that checks out, verify the pin-out of the wires/harness.

 

the extension seems like its right i checked it with a multimeter any thing else I can check?

 

who has the pin-out for the sensor?

 

What engine mods, if any do you have?

 

never mind I got it fixed the extension had 2 female connectors the wires were reversed....
