As soon as I get my bike I am going to take it to get hid's. only thing is I have no clue on how to start or what to do. Can you guys help me out.

You have a projector beam correct? I think you do, in that case you want to look for a D2S bulb (made for projector setups), it still has to plug into your normal headlight socket though (h1, h2, h4, h7, 9005, 9006 etc etc etc).

Somebody correct me if I am wrong, this is from what I remember when I had HID's on my car.

I have an '04 R6 which uses H7 bulbs. I installed an OEM Infinity HID kit on my lowbeam side. The D2R bulb is universal and the circumference is the same as an H7 bulb so it installed easily. Only needed to bend the metal clip to clip over the thicker D2R bulb. Now I get a pretty good cutoff line when I shine it against a wall and it's bright but not blue.

OEM Infinity comes out like a purpulish when looking at it, but white on the ground doesn't it?

Don't just get a kit and throw it in there. It looks like **** and pisses off people around you.

well what would you recommened. Either way I am going to get HIDS. just not sure as far as what to get

 

You're going to need more than a bulb, even if you do buy a kit. Regardless of whether or not you have projectors. You'll need the bulbs as well as a ballast.

Yup. My friend just bought a '05 Infinity G35 Coupe and was begging for me to cruise with him so I took my bike out and when the sun settled and we were next to eachother the light between his and mine were seemless.

 

how much would a set up for a 750 cost?

 

Expect to pay $200~$250 for a used OEM kit. One D2R bulb and one ballast.

Selling HID for a profit in CA is illegal. I'm giving it to my friends at my cost. Which runs between $200-$250. Anyways.. just stop by when you're ready.
