Default Free fender eliminator *pics*

I had some time today so i decided to chop my mudflap as i was not willing to pay $200 for the kit plus they don't even make fender eliminator kit for my bike. At least i couldn't find it. I couldn't stand that ugly thing for any longer. I went and bought LP CF imitation turning signals to install along with this DIY mod.
Your opinions/ideas are welcome. The only thing i need to do yet is to figure out how should i install any kind of light above the license plate as it is not legal to have no light on your plates when you riding at night. I was thinking one of those little LED lights that they make for car interior. Just wire it up. The only issue with it is that i am not sure how will it act if the water gets on it during the rain etc. So again i need to come up with some sort of cover for that light....
Here are some pics.

Looks good!

My buddy has bolts for his plate with built in lights and it doesn't do too bad. You may want to look into that, its pretty clean looking.

Another alternative is go get something similar to a LED/washer nozzle and focus it back towards your plate, some of those little LEDs have a pretty good punch to them and are easy to mount.

I can get some pics if you like.

EDIT:

Wow, I was looking at your stock plate light and that thing is hideous, good fix.

Looks good, I'm not usually big on flushmounts for the rear, but that looks good.

Thanks guys.
UTCiv, can you please post some pics. I was thinking of those nozzles when i was in the store today but they all lit up blue? Isn't blue illegal as well?
I have underglow on my rear tire in red light... here is the pic. Someone told me that red light on the bikes is illegal as well.

the red light shouldn't be illegal, as it is visible to the rear, i.e. just like a brake light. Good job on the cut, i have the same exact bike and same exact setup. Yes they do make undertail kits for the f3, the one i was shown had 2 led tail lights with integrated blinkers.

I believe flashing blue is illegal in OH, b/c there is a law for not yeilding to a blue light. and red is ok as long as it is not flashing as well.

Here is my roomates, I don't know where the key it to his bike, but the lighting of the plate is just enough to be legal.

You should be able to find white LEDs almost anywhere though if you want to go that route.

Though a red LED stuck right in the middle of that reflector, then drill a hole in the reflector under the LED for the wires would look pimp and it would provide a good beam on your plate.

What kind of nozzles are those? And i don't think you can change the LED inside that nozzle. Although, i never really looked into it. Can someone confirm it?

Sorry for the confusion.

Those are purpose built plate lights that also serve as a bolt for the plate.

I can't get pics of a washer LED or an accessory LED right now.

They are a white light.

All you should have to do if you need a plate light still is pull the old plate light out of its housing and remount it.It's not like that plastic crap it attached to your plate light bulb.I thought us Honda guys were crafty. But do go with the bolt lights if you don't mind spending a few bucks, that's what I'm doing. They're made by "Larry's" and I believe he sells them on ebay.

The honda light is huge. I don't want that thing stick out like that. Plus it needs to be covered in case the water gets on it.
Does anyone mind posting the ebay member who sells those bolts.

Thanks. I will google it right now.
