where can i find longer hood bolts for???

 

just take the old ones to home depot and match the thread pitch to something longer.

Nice. I wouldn't mind doing that myself because if there is a breeze of some sort I can picture that hood slamming on my back.

did you find your bolt from home depot? I wanted to do this too, but orchard bolts didnt fit

 

Any long Honda 10mm bolts and some washers will fit.

 

haha i found some bolts from my stock air box and used dat. works fine for me but not 2 high of a lift. at lease u can notice it

That is pretty damn funny, because when I had that mod done on my s13 240sx, I had people stopping me at gas stations yelling "Hey man wait! Your hood is open!!"

Read up on "cowl induction" and you'll get an idea of what it accomplishes. With most Honda's it's done only for cosmetic purposes or to help keep the engine cooler. It could work as an induction system if the car is running ITB's though.
