Default I'm having an electrical problem

Here's the story, I bought a 98 Civic DX hatch with a b20b swap and the first night I drove it I noticed that whenever the rpms are about about 3k-4k the lights get bright. And then, as soon as I push the clutch in to shift, the dim back down and once I'm in 5th gear they get bright and stay bright until I push the clutch in. I've had the alternator checked and it's at 76 amps, I did notice that the old battery terminals were really lose, to the point where you could just slide them off and on. So I replaced those with brand new ones, tight as can be, and I'm still having the same problem with the lights. I'm thinking about having an electrical diagnostic ran but I want to get some other opinons first. Does anyone have any thoughts on what this could be? If you need more info about the car, just ask. Thanks.

When I bought it, he had a sheet that had all the mods on it and it said which ecu it is but I can't find the paper. I did run out to the car and check the ecu and it says p75 on it. Hope this helps.

P75 is from a LS or GS.

That I'm not sure of. It should be. Some shop in Indianapolis, IN were the ones that built the car. I can call the guy I bought it from and ask him about it and see what he says.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

You need to find out whats up with your ECU. Relic1 asking about the ELD is quite valid in your case - so find out if its been chipped and what has been enabled/disabled.
