Default New ecu or Vtec Controller first?

I was wondering what i should get first? I will end up getting both sooner or later, but i am having my ITR cams, cam gears, valve springs put in next month and i am almost 100% sure i need to up my vtec cross-over. What do you guys suggest getting first? I can't get both since i need to make more money. I was thinking that i should probably get my ecu first then have the vafc wired to it so i don't have to install everything twice?

Can i dyno tune my car with just a vtec controller? If i do, would i have to change my settings if i got a new ecu and get everything dyno tuned again?

Sorry for all the questions but i thought i would ask you techies since most of you have done this before. thanks!
