master brake cylinder 88-91 the same on all models?

Default master brake cylinder 88-91 the same on all models?

as tittle states. i need to replace it i found a 88 DX cylinder for 20 bucks does it fit my 91 si? and is it simple to install and replace? do i have to bleed brakes afterwards? thx

i believe the only difference would be the proportioning valve, but you might want to get a second opinion, not 100% on that

forgot to mention, you WILL have to bleed brakes after done. start with the back and work to the front.

i know the ex's had larger master cylinders, and, i'm not ocmpletely sure, but i think the 90-91 crx si's did too because they have rear discs and slightly bigger piston calipers in the front.

but, even if it's slightly smaller, it'll work fine, you'll just lose a little pedal feel and some travel, but still way in the range of being safe.
