distributer testing
I'm planning on doing my mpfi swap this weekend. But I am concerned about the A6 distributer that I have. (there is a little bit of play in the shaft)
Is it possible to hook the A6 dizzy up to my current dpfi setup to see if it will work? Or is the wiring completly different.

I have heard of someone using a MPFI distributor
in a DPFI configuration before..
An Si distributor has seven wires and the DX distributor has five..
The two extra wires are for the cylinder position sensor..
Other than the extra sensor, the insides are identical...
So if you were to hook the five of seven wires
of the Si distibutor in the proper configuration
in a DX type plug,It should work..
