Default Can someone help me got a tire rubbing question

I wanna get the new azenis rt-615 on 16x7 slips that i'm getting... do you think that i'm gonna rub with my car being lowered about 2" and i wanna use 205/40R16 do you guys think i'll be ok thanks in advanced

You should be fine. Why 205/40's? I'd go 215/45 or 205/45.

I don't mean to speak for someone else, but I would guess that it's because 205/40-16 is the only 16" size available, according to Vulcan.

Oh, didn't know that. I'd have thought they'd have kept the same sizing as the late 215's.
