I have super rare type r block from real time racing , I spoke with peter cunningham from real time racing and he said it is the real deal from and the RTR stands fro their 16th block. The block indicates p72 at the bottom. This is a complete short block minus pistons and rods. The crank has been micropolished and new acl main bearings and thrust washers have been purchased and installed. All main oil bearings are within spec. This is a SUPER RARE block to come upon. your CHANCE to own a RTR16 real time racing block out of one their type r.s. Peter cunningham said the block should have about 0nly 60 hours of driving. But a fresh new light hone has been done. Complete short block means oil pump, water pump, all sensors, oil cooler, main seal windage, oil pan, timing belt sproket, cover, pulley, oil pan, etc, complete short blocketc, just add pistons and rods and your all set to go

whats not pitcured but will be put on= crank pulley, lower timing belt cover, knock sensor, and all bottom end hoses, timing belt cover
however, the driver side mount braket will not be included

not hating but p72 is a GSR isnt it?? and p73 would be an R so how is this a type-r block?? just a question.....

 

all type r blocks are p-72 , ask anyone, p-73 is type r parts such as oil pump, intake valve, pistons, etc. but all type r blocks are gsr blocks, however internals are different such as balance crank , rods, pistons etc.

 

anyb series vtec head will fit. b16 head is pretty much like a type r head, just no pnp, different intake valves, cams etc. But the head of a b16 is identical to a type r. since i believe their both pr3 i think. pretty much youll be building a poor mans ITR
