Default Question????

Ok, I have a 00 civic 4door, it handles pretty good. I just put a ST front/rear swaybar kit on. I can tell the difference but, when I take a corner at 60+ the *** end feels like it wants to side out from under me. I never had this problem when I had the smaller swaybars on. Is this normal?
I have also heard that you should run a smaller swaybar or stock if the front. Will this help me with my problem?

The larger rear sway bar (or smaller front bar) will cause more oversteer (*** end coming out). If this is NOT what you want, then you should mabey switch out your rear sway bar for somthing smaller. Guys usually want larger rear bars so they get rid of the "pre-programed" understeer that hondas come with from the factory, but understeer is much safer than Oversteer on the street (as you've found out).

It isn't all bad, and if you get used to it, you can control it pretty well. It is certainly surprising the first time it happens though. It is also inherent to your vehicles design that if you enter a turn too fast, and suddenly lift off the throttle when turning in, your tail end will slide out. This is because you are suddenly unloading the rear tires by slowing down. The unloaded tires will loose grip with the road, and start to slide. It can be stoped by getting back on the gas, but that is a VERY un-natural reaction when your starting to slide...

Snap Oversteer = *** slides out when you make a sudden steering movement with constant speed.
Lift Off Oversteer = *** slides out when you lift off the throttle in a turn.
On Throttle Oversteer = *** slides out when you mash the gas pedal (this is not a FWD thing).

What would happen if I replaced the oversized front swaybar with the stock one or none at all? Leaving the larger oversized one in the rear? Just wondering what my options are. Also, I have agx's w/ Eibach pro springs on all four corners, if I adjust the rear to be stiffer would this help? Thanks.

A stiffer rear end makes a looser rear end. If you take off/ or shink your front swaybar, it will make the oversteer worse.
