What header do you have? (JDM 2.5 header is not only larger diameter, it's longer, meaning you need a shorter cat). USDM cat is 2.25" dia. Do you have the header on the car right now?

Carsound is a good, inexpensive option. You may also be able to find a used JDM cat.

You mention having and 'LS' exhaust. Is that the model name, or was it for an LS originally? If so, it is the right length to bolt up, but I'm not sure about the diameter. Can you measure the B-pipe dia?

You also want to ditch the stock 'ring' gasket (if not already), and put a 3-1/2 bolt circle, 3 bolt, 2.5" flat gasket between the cat and the b-pipe.

The cat will bolt up to the header but will be too short for the catback. You will need a jdm length catback or extend the b-pipe in order to bolt up the jdm cat. Or, just get a custom carsound cat.
