Default Can't decide Clarion DRZ9255 or DEH-P860MP

So my Sony CDX-C90 took a dump on my and well it has come time to get a new deck. My extended warranty plan will cover either deck listed in the title, the Clarion DRZ9255 or the Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on them. Who has them, likes them, pet pees about the decks.

I don't need to hear the obivious like the Pioneer does mp3 because I will be getting the IPOD interface so that will be irrevelant as both will have the ability to play music from the IPOD. Price isn't a factor either since I will not have pay a penny into the deck.

So if anyone wants a CDX-C90 with a faceplate that lights up all blue with remotes, manuals and boxes, let me know. I have been told that the deck just needs a new face. Deck was just recently cleaned when it went in for warranty work. Also have a 10 disc changer and the sony aux expander, can't remember the model, but it allows you to run 2 changers, USB plug in and 2 aux rca in's.

if you have a 'c90 your will have to replace it with a 9255 because the lights and the stupid dolphins along on the dehp860 will drive you nuts.

the 'c90 is a legendary audiophile deck and the '9255 is on the same level, imo.

I totally know that the 9255 is a way better deck. I don't know of anyone that has one, so I wondering if it has the shitty day display as in the C90. Non detachable face has me a little bit worried, Dolphins and stuff, never bothered me since i had a DEH-P720 which had them. I really wish I could find a new c90, cuz I would jump all over that. My only problem that I had with my c90 was the wired remote keep on breaking because i would leave it out in the -30 C winters, which for some reason would destroy remotes.

I'm really leaning towards the 9255, but something is telling me to run away. Don't know why. Maybe it is because I have had **** luck with clarion decks in the past. I don't know.

Could you guys post some info in the sony deck? I was able to find clarion specs and God Damn! It's expensive, but looks ****** sweet and seems to be one hell of an audiophile piece of equipment. Do you guys use these for competitions or just personal everyday use? Seems pricey for that.
