Default Liscense Plate Relocator?

I have been looking high and low for a company that makes these. I know there have been threads about people selling them before but searching has brought up nothing. Can someone please point me in the right direction to a company or website that has them for sale? Thanks.

I have thought about that as a last resort but I don't remember them costing that much so for now I would like to see what it out there to buy rather than making my own.

Just the standard off to the driver/passanger side. I would like to get the plate out of the way so more air can get in through the grill becuase that is where my intercooler is. Cops are not a huge pain in the *** about it here but I would rather just have it on there just in case I do drive past one that is cranky and looking for someone to pick on.

well, you can make on yourself. Go to a hardware shop and they should have some mounting stuff, as in home depot or menards. You wont be diappointed! better then spending $30 on ebay , you can spend $5 bucks! BIG difference.

And you dont have to worry about the color of it ]you can always paint it black or to match your car.

ok this is ur best bet right now since i am not going to run to home depot to find thid out for you.

go to homedepot.com , and look up bi-fold bracket.

it should do or give you an idea on it but you HAVE to go to homedepot urself and find out!

If you decide to purchase one, send a PM to Roaring Turtle, he sells his own.

Uhm... these "license plate relocator" you speak of are not really license plate relocators.. They are just pieces that comes stock on 99-00 civics. Like way back in the day when I had my EK I got a front end off a 99 civic. Basically the "relocator" thing is a metal piece that holds the bottom portion of the plate in place and screws into the bottom 2 holes of your license plate, while the top 2 holes of yoru license plate screws into the front of the bumper.

So what you do is you take this metal piece that the bottom of the license plate normally bolts into and instead bolt the top portion of the license plate to the little metal piece.

I found it for you on majestic honda

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

It's part number 3 on there and it's called a "bracket". It costs 3.49 so you can probably find it at honda.

im sorry but you are wrong! these relocators not only lower the license plate but also offset it to the right or left for improved airfolw. so they would not be the same thing!
