Default Help.. Is my hub or wheel bearing over with?

I just bought a 1990 GS teg and when I was installing new rotor and brake pads...

I noticed that when grabbing the wheel bolt studs and move them up and down with the 2 rotor bolts impacted on, with the calipers on correctly, all control/steering arms on correctly, the studs along with brake assembly maybe about 1cm up and down. and this happens on both sides in the front only...Tell me it's the broken axles, the guy I bought this car from really fu**ed those up.. Your help is appreciated...

if your brakes are moving WITH your rotor, then its not the wheel bearings. check lower or upper balljoint.
