where do the x bar mount? looks like they are mounted onto the cage...or am i not seing it right?

it's fitted onto the cage. you're correct. that's why you'll never see a setup like that... most ppl X it out from the c-pillar to the strut. mines' unique dammit.

 

The rollcage is going for sale as well! As you can see, the rear part can only be custom welded. The r/c is meant for DAs without sunroof... I forced it into my LS... so it's snug as hell...

asking 300 firm for the 6 point cage.
