Havent started my hatch for 5 or so months...
And I tried to fire it up tonight. Its a 91 hatch with a y8 turbo running obd1 and a vafc hack. It shows no cel and my fuel pump primes fine. It cranks but just wont start, it wants to some times but wont. One time I gave it full gas (pedal) while cranking it for a little while and it started but just sat under 1000 rpm going bla blum bla blum stuttering, hardly running. I drained my oil and it smelled like gas
What does that mean lol. Anybody have any ideas why my car wont start?

old gas, old plugs, wouldnt hurt to pot a little marvel mystery oil in each cyl and let it sit overnight, change the plugs, and drain out the old gas.

most of the time a "stored car" wont start its a gas problem

if you stored it with just a little gas in it, just go ahead and top off the tank with some fresh stuff. should be fine.
if it is full and refuses to run or really misses a lot, you'll have to drain the tank.

I changed the oil and turned the fuel pressure up and got it to fire up. Didnt run or idle to well and didnt want to rev. I had about a 1/4 tank in it all the time it was stored and I just drove down a couple blocks and put in 5 or so gallons of 92 and headed off to work
Ran like crap the whole way, dying every time i would stop, not revving above 4 grand and gave me a code 43 (fuel supply)
After work I drove it around a good bit more, gradually breaking it in and it got better and better till finally I **** canned it a good few times
Then it ran great and the code went away
