sway bar question
I'm picking up an eg this week. It has no swap bars and I would like to add them. It has no holes for sway bars though. So what is the best option? Go and buy used oem lcas with holes already in them and then buy the sway bars or instead buy sway bars that do not require holes in the lcas? Also is it a good idea to buy aftermarket lcas vs. used oem ones. I heard that after market shorter rear lcas can fix ur camber at the cost of proper suspension geometry and rear track width. Is this true?
Buy some OEM GSR sway-bar kits from ImportAutoSalvage.com (click here to view). They are 24mm front, and 14mm rear. Great for street driving...

It is not always wise to change the suspension geometry (shorter LCAs). I would recommend going with the Integra LCAs and then you can pick which integra rear bar you want. I am going with the GSR bar/LCAs myself...

will any 94+ non itr lca bolt up front and rear with no problems to my eg? And is that progressive bar not require sway bar holes? And one question I have been wondering all along, a lot of aftermarket lcas (omni, k sport, ugr ...) are the same size as the stock ones. Other then a slight savings in weight and possible better bushings then oem, what is the point of buying them?

Yes any front & rear Integra LCAs will bolt onto your civic.
Progressive makes a swaybar kit for civics without the holes in the rear LCAs (bolts to the shock mount).
The only reason for buying aftermarket LCAs has been determined as "Bling". They serve no real purpouse since half of their weight is "sprung" weight anyways. Also, there is no way in hell that their bushing quality could be better than OEM. I would love to compare their bushings to OEM ones after 200k miles...

thats good to know about the aftermarket lcas. are they gonna be cheaper though then new or used oem units? and what are the advantages/disadvantages if any of runing sway bar connected to your lcas vs one connected to your shock mounts?

Probably not so much of a difference in the rear (most of your road feel comes from up front). If your buying quality used parts, the bushings will be in good condition anyways. The LCAs I got from ImportAutoSalvage had bushings in great condition.
Also, the LCAs with the swaybar mounts have different bushings with metal inserts in the middle of the rubber. These ones seem much stiffer than the standard civic LCA (and less likely to wear out)....

The Integra front kit will work on all 96-00 Civcis except the SI (which has a bigger bar anyways).
The Integra rear kit will work on all 96-00 civics, but you will need to use your stock LCAs (so don't buy integra ones). You will also need to purchase 99-00 Si rear sway-bar end-links (because the integra ones are too short)...
