back to stock exhaust
about two months ago i traded my badly beat up Apexi N1 for the Buddy Club Spec2 exhaust... the only negative out of the deal was that the buddy club had no silencer... well i came across a stock ITR system and put it on the car about an hour ago... stock system sounds nice after listening the BC system for a few months. My car last dynoed 234whp... how much hp do you think i lose with the stock exhaust system
i dont mind losing hp.. i can always uncork it when i track the car

Completely stock exhaust, I say you will loose about 15-25 depending on what your motor has done to it.
But the most important part, checking theTune & A/F to make sure your not going to hurt anything.

motors not boosted.. just tired of the BC spec2 noise maker...

I made about 209whp on a mildly built motor with a stock exhaust (spoon header, carsound cat).
youll probably lose mainly peak HP but the trade off for a quite exhaust on a street car is worth it.

You'll take a huge performance hit if you had 200+whp. Get the T1R SPL muffler...2.5" and quiet(er) than most other cannisters.
Hate to say this, but fast + quiet really doesn't happen.

Chamered is going to be quietest. Try and get the correct diameter chambered muffler from someone like Magnaflow.
Hytech (and other twin loops) are quiet, but are much louder than stock.
