what is the difference between jdm and usdm tail lights for the EG9???

USDM tail lights have side markers in them that light up. JDM tail lights don't have this side marker built into them.

 

You mean JDM EG9 tail lights and USDM EG8 tail lights? No side reflector. I'm not sure on the EG9, but on the EG6 lights, the reverse lens was smoked.

I don't see any smoke on my reverse lens on my EG6. Maybe someone picked up a used set that was smoked out. There shouldn't be a difference in the inners.

the eg6 inners ARE smoked... there is also some writing and crap on the red part or the lens that isnt present on the usdm inners

 

Really??? Because I got an EG6 right here in front of me and I don't see any smoke on them. If you can share some more info that would help. Maybe my inners were swapped out...I can take pics of EG6 and email it to anyone willing to post it if you want to see. Just don't know how to post pics here.

 

yeah its kinda hard to tell until you have them side by side then you will see it... do yours have any writing on the lenses at all?... the usdm inners dont have any writing... the jdm ones do

Yup, I had them side by side. The USDM ones are pinkish while the JDM ones are greyish.

This is also true, has some sort of symbol thingy.

Yeah there is some writing (markings?) on the inner (towards the license plate) in the back up part

It has 'E4' and a circle around it.

Is it worth buying the JDM tails? is there that much of a difference

IMO, no they are not worth. Those who don't know what to look for can't tell.

thats what i like about it... only the ones who really know are the only ones that notice it... its not like a wing or some big ugly rims or stickers where everyone and their blind grandma notices it
