got riped off by a piece of tire from an 18 wheeler that blew its tire in front of me then got finnished off by the truck behind me

don't take this the wrong way, but when you're shooting at night, you should avoid taking shots directly into light sources (especially headlights and street lights) so there won't be as much glare in the pictures. just some friendly photog advice
