Default tokico hp problems??

i just bought a set of hp's for my 89 crx hf and the strut base is too big for the fork on the front of the car what fork can i use ?....also on the rear they fit fine but i also got h&r race springs and there is about an inch gap between the spring and the hat is that normal?

sounds like you got the 92-95 EG shock for the front. the shock body is a bit bigger.

it also might explain why your rear spring perch might be sitting lower than normal, but im not sure if thats just because the spring is designed like that. (id be curious to know if there is a difference actually, it would make lowering the rear possible with stock springs...)

check the part numbers and cross check.
