passenger window prob(long read)
searched already..(nothing)..well took my car to a body shop to replace the driver side door..keep in mind my windows were working perfect...but when i get my car back from the shop..all of a sudden my passenger window is not rolling down at all..not even from the driver side..and the shop tells me they are not responseable so i check the wires and motor on both doors..the power is working fine...so i thought maybe its the switch..because when i ran directly to it with a separate battery it worked...so i went to a junk yard to get a switch...bought another switch but it still wouldn't work..so then i just got frustrated and went to a mechanic..they tell me the ground wire is bad so they replace that and tell me the motor on the passenger is dead..but then im like..the motor was working fine earlier if i got it to go up and down earlier..so yeah the mechanic did not help much..so if anyone got any ideas that maybe i have not tried let me know before i start getting screwed for labor from mechanics..im going to get another motor tomorrow..hopefully my window works..ill keep everyone updated thanks for reading
no to be a smart as or anything but have you checked to fuse, sometimes you get so rapped up in the problem you don't look at the basic idea, I have done it a few times.......just an idea
alright I put the new motor in the passenger window..which is working fine now...but on the driver side I cant roll it down..I can roll it up..does this mean I need to replace the switch for the driver side?
