S2000 comes stock with 16*6.5 fronts with 55mm offsets...... backs are 16*7.5 w/ 65mm offsets..... the higher the offset, the more "inward" the wheel is

So you have to figure out the width difference (half the width diff goes to the inside and half to the outside), then figure out the offset difference. Make sense?

Spoons are - fronts - 16*7 - 45mm (or 35mm) and rears - 16*8 45mm

A 16*7.0 front with a 45mm offset would be 16mm out from stock.... (no rubbing there)

A 16*8 w/ 45mm offset would be 6.5mm (1/2 of the width difference) + 20mm (the offset difference) = 26.5 mm (about an inch) further out than stock wheels.... again, no rubbing there unless you really lower it.

spoons are 16*7 w/ 45mm front and 16*8 rears with 45mm offsets.

volk ce28n's & TE37's are about the same width and offsets.

besides that you don't have much choices other than stock or JDM stock.

You can go get some shitty pep boys wheels that will fit, but they probably won't be staggard....and they will be heavy.

This applies to the AP1...not the AP2 (just thought i'd throw that in there).

Besides the 17's... what is the setup? And what are the stock AP2 offsets & widths?

The optimal offsets for the CE28 are 17x8.5(F) +50 and 17x9(R)+63.

I think he said Berlina.

I posed a similar wheel question to Tom at Gruppe-S and he sold me a set of wheels for my S2K that are 17x7.5 +45 Front, and 17x8.5 +50 Rear. If that helps at all.

*Shortest Answer Possible* Offset: The distance in millimeters from the mounting point of the wheel to the wheel's center line.
