EK check engine light turn off question
ok if i were to buy this ek and get it inspected the intake air temp is throwing a code does anyone know which wire turns this light on behind the cluster. so that i can cut it for now so i can get car inspected? ill deal with it later

The check to make sure the check engine light comes on. I learned that the hard way. I pulled the fuse for the cluster lights in my moms car and it failed smog because her check engine light didn't come on. So......rather than trying to cheat get it fixed. Check to make sure the intake air temp sensor is hooked up or just get it fixed.

Don't they actually just plug into your ECU when they test anyway? Which would tell them there is a code? That's what I thought at least.
