Posting any Illegal Info about passing State Inspections is really not smart.

Save it for AIM or e-mails.

It IS emissions related (maybe not tailpipe emissions though). You will fail.

Thought it was a code for the EVAP, nevermind.

Well, yeah, crank sensor is emissions related, if your car doesn't know when to fire off injectors or fuel injectors, you're not going to be burning clean

But any CEL will cause you to fail emissions in any state I've seen. CEL is pretty much defined as any failure that could affect emissions.

hmmm...EVAP is just one of the codes I have, but I know how to fix that.

what if the CEL is for my disabled immobilizer and my CEL will never go off no matter what I do? lol

Ryan who has a feeling he will be making fake inspection and emissions stick0rz

You WILL automatically fail with a CEL... I had a BS CEL for a Barometric Pressure sensor (just bolt-ons on my car) due to wiring, but they didnt care. I ended up resetting the ECU and timing it just right so that I inspected the car right after it goes through all of its readiness cycles and just before the CEL goes on. Lucky for me though the CEL hasnt gone on since for some reason...

I had that code too. check the intake mainfold/gasket area. it could be leaking

that's what happened to mine, gasket was toast. replaced w/ a new Hondata gasket and no CEL ever since
