I just got a 98 civic coupe.. and the drivers seat is in rough shape. id like to get a nice set of leather seats.. but im not sure what fits the back seat. Someone told me that 94-01 GSR 4 door seats will fit. is this true? id like to be sure before i start shopping for seats. i know that the 2 door gsr seats fit in the hatchback but not the coupe..
also- anyone in the NY/CT tri-state area with seats (that fit) for sale- let me know.

 

i would like to know that to... i know the front fit with a lil mod but dont really know about the back seats.....

You will need the Gsr 4 door rear seats for a proper fit. The hatch is a 60/40 split where the 4 door is a 50/50 split.

If you really want an easy change, find 99-00 SI seats but they are the same as the EX.

Also, u have a 96 and up civic, u need to change out both inner rails on the front seats or only 3 seat mounting bolts will line up. Dont skimp on this safety issue.......

 

Yes, the front seats will bolt up fine. Like stated before, you will need GSR 4 door rear seats for them to fit perfect.
