yep, so a friend and i lowered the front of my civic last night and the car sat much lower then we planed. im pretty sure we cut the bump stop way too short then we were supposed to. but the real problem is... i cant find new ones anywhere!!! does ebay know them as another name? not even the distributers in my area know what im talking about.

It may not matter if you're not hitting it. How short did you cut it? To see if you're even hitting it, put a zip tie around the shock piston rod and go for a drive and see where it ends up.

 

we cut it down so there was only one of the rounded rivits left, if that makes any sense. it looks more like a little donut now.

 

the dealership should have them in stock
