installing a tach on 02 car with no dizzy....
My buddys car did not come with a tach we were going to install one but his car has the individual coil ignition on each plug so I was wondering if I have to hook it up straight to the ecu or behind the cluster? I have only hooked these up on cars with distributors.

there is usually a tach output wire for diagnostics. Find it and use it. on the 2001+ civic its the blue wire in front of the battery.
