turbo a type R?

is it a good idea? or not because of the already high compression.

You are not going to get much more of a response then the one i am posting right now. This has been covered more times then i can count. Do a search and you will find a wealth of information!

Edit: ..... you should ultimately read one key important idea and that is that TUNING....TUNING....YES TUNING is key!

High compression isn't really a problem unless the tuner sucks. High compression just means theres less room for error in the tunning process. Don;t even think about going turbo with out some sort of stand along fuel managament. An fmu or afc will not cut it. It will short term but not long term.
