Just replaced rack and pinion by myself!
And let me tell you that it was a pain in the ***! Anyways I know most people have not done this but I have a few questions. When I drive in a straight line my steering wheel is turned to the left. And when I let go of the steering wheel the car will either pull right really hard or left really hard. Here is some things that could also factor in: I need a front camber kit because I'm dropped about 2" in the front. And my tires are really bald. Here is my list of how to fix these things:
Camber kit
New Tires
Alignment
You guys think this will take care of everything? Also if I install a camber kit does the alignment place correct the camber or do I have to do that myself. Thanks guys.

To be honest, it is not really that hard, but good job on doing it. I have done abouy 5 times on Integras now, it is alot easier to just put the Civic manual rack in, however.
The reason it is crocked it either because you touched the steering wheel ot the coulmn whilst the pinch pin and bolt was undone whilst disconnected from the rack. Thats why it is imperative that you mark the relationship.
To get it straight again is going to be hard, easiest way is by the alighnment, but won't work that well. You need to take the steering wheel off and realign the splines with the wheel. Not that hard but tricky because of the SRS system.
Good luck.

There might have been a few steps that I missed, but fairly simple.
Starting off on an 2000 GSR is the same procedure. If I was you though I would def. keep all of the stock parts, they are still in probably in good condition.
The overall weight savings are huge, no pump, bracket, lines, rack ect.
The feel is alot better, my GF has an LS with PS and begging me to convert her's to the manual rack. Alot of the people are skeptical about the Civic rack being slower, but have let many drive my car afterwards and have then gone to do it themselves.
You can buy a used rack from sohfast.com for about $125, or a salvage place $50, or brand new around $250.
I might be able to get a pic of the engine bay with all of it removed.
