I have a 95 ex 4 door, i was wondering if they sell the silver/red 99-00 style tail lights to fit our EG's... And if so, is the 4 door one different form the 2 door? Ive really only seen the silver/red ones on coupes.

No, you can't. The orange/amber color is the actual lense. The lense is the color, there is no reflector in the housing.

They sell the red/clear tails on eBay for Sedans.

No, Sedans have different lighting than the Coupes/Hatchback.

haha no? Obviously, someting's taken out of my tail light, i would know, i did it my self.

I'm pretty sure the hatch lights are shaped a little different (to the point where it doesn't fit right) than the coupe/sedan.

Yes they are... I'm sure that all three are slightly different if you take a closer look. I have a friend with an EJ1 and his/her taillights look different compared to mine. To say that all of the taillights are the same is a lie.

 

ah, but what gets me is, why does the JDM EG6 headlights fit on a EG8-9 sedan? But yet the coupes are totally on their own. But anyway, the coupe tails for 92-95 fit on the 4 doors. The hatch is the only one that isn't interchangable.

 

eg's(hatches) are different, i posted this a while back, the outers may fit
but the inner's are diferen't. try ebay.

Does anyone know where I can get some red and clear taillights for a eg6 I tried ebay with no success

or are you just talking about an EH2 1.5L USDM All 3-door CX/VX/DX

because if you had a Eg6 why would you want to change out the o so desired eg6 stock taillights without the relectors for some lame *** red/white ones WITH reflectors?

 

Wow, a lot of you guys are mistaken about the taillights.

You can't take out the orange color in the stock ones.

The coupe and sedan taillights are identical, while the hatch tails are different.

The hatch/coupe front ends are the same, while the sedans are different.

Ebay will have them. I got mine off of there.

the headlights are the same its just that the corners are diffrent i have "sedan" headlights on my coupe, also i belive all the tail lights are diffrent and you can't take the orange out

Hatchback tail lights only fit hatchs, sedan/coupe taillights are interchangeable.
check every site, they sell 2/4door together and 3door by itself

 

i dont htink you can find exact replicas similar to the 99-00 ones,cause hte ones that you can order are opposite.jsut go grab a set of all white tail lights tape off the bottm portion and pain the non taped portion red,haah i seen it done doesnt look so bad.i tried looking for those lights to no luck,you may wanan check out phasenine.com

 

Sedan will fit coupes or Vice versa. Not sure about the hatch. Stick to the tail w/amber.JDM
