hey i need to rebulit my 97 accord 5 speed transmission becuase 2nd pops out and like every other gear grinds... i need to find a rebulit kit somewhere and i wanted to know if anyone knows a site who sales rebulit kits?

 

The only real place to get the parts is the dealer. The oem parts are going to be the best replacment. There really isn't a kit. But by the sounds of it you'll want to replace all the syncros, the 1st-2nd shift fork, and any worn out or noisey bearings.

 

it might be cheaper to put a used tranny in this car

 

it would be way cheaper to put in a used tranny. h23 trannies are sellin for 250 ( i know cause i jsut sold one for that much) so i imagine a f22 tranny should be less than that.

 

If you need one I just happen to have a good one with no grinding sitting in my garage. If you want I cna PM the price to you. You live in pitt's thats only about 3.5hrs from columbus. You could pick it up and save shipping or I could meet you half way.
