Default d16y7 to d16y8 mini me swap

i just got done with my mini me a d16y7 block with a d16y8 head but i have a couple of problems. i can't take off fast under 2000 RPMS NO torque if that's what you want to call it. i could step on it all the way and the car still wont go fast but soon as i pass 2000RPM it takes off . and the other problem is back firing. .... is It my timing if it it is it advanced or retartding ? around how many degrees. and wich way is advanced clock Yss or other way around if any one could help me with any info i would reall mind...... thank you

Well i fugured out the problem so if some one is having the same problem. the timing is little off turn your cam about 1or 2 degrees advaned (towards the head lights) and it should help it a lot.

yes it does and it got louder and it kinda get up a lot better wich is kind of funny because i don't have the ECU on yet. but i feel a diferrence,
