Just wondering what kind of things i should to to help with performance from my stock d16 trans. I'm a complete noob to anything that has to do with trannys really. But i remember reading in a thread about changing something in the d16 tranny for a better pull. What would you all suggest?

If it matters, the car's going to be a daily driver and will see some track time. I'd preferably like to steer the tranny towards track type of gearing versus the everyday gas saving type of thing.

As far as mods on the engine, its stock for now but i dont plan on doing anything too much more than bolt ons in the future with this engine. Hope thats all the info yall need to help me out. thanks!

 

the d16z6 tranny is the best tranny for a sohc the way it is. although it is a weak tranny the only upgrade you can do as far a tranny goes it get a d16y8 tranny for the longer shift forks thats about it. and run honda mtf i love that stuff
