Default '88 Si tranny question

I just picked up an 88 Si tranny and wanted to know if I could use an 89 Si Flywheel with the 88 clutch assembly, or will only the 88 flywheel work? They are both 200mm so I thought it may work or does the spline count matter?

You can use the 89 flywheel. The clutch disc is dependent on the spline count of the transmission.
