Does anyone make a performance torque converter for a D-series auto tranny?

Yeah, they do, its called a 5 speed EX/SI tranny.

But in all honesty... Is it REALLY worth almost $840? Wouldn't it just make more sense to swap over to a manual application? That's just my opinion on it, but it's your money, and it's up to you how you want to spend it

 

ouch. also found one made by TCI but its $760. figured someone would make a budget one but guess not. wanting to just do a turbo kit and I have the tranny out now so i thought it was worth a chance. will prob swap to a B-series/5spd when the tranny goes south again. thanks all
