Default Removing side moldings on 95 DX Coupe

So I was reading Gabstar's post about adding side moldings, and I was wondering what they are held on with? Clips or just some kind of adhesive? If I took them off, would I have to have a body shop fill in holes? I really like the way an EJ looks without moldings.

Not sure on the years, but some are clip-ons and some are adhesive.
My 93 has clips. Clip-ons would obviously need to be filled.

Doesnt help much, but there you go.

that is a NO NO ... those are some important clips that need to be pushed off from the inside with some needle nose plyers..
