actually that is a obd1 block the 5 means it is obd1

it is an sir block though. the only difference that you can tell on the head is if it is the original valve cover VTEC will be in bigger letters than dohc. it would also have the older style intake manifold on it with a choke

PR3 is the casting code for the B16A/ITR head.

B16A PR3-4
ITR PR3-3.

My OBD1 XSi 1st gen B16A looks just like that. Its a 1st gen, but has p30 pistons.


Did it come with a cable or hydro tranny?

idk, i didn't buy it as a complete set up, i have a 98' GSR tranny...

00 JDM ITR head is PR3-3 '97 USDM ITR head is PR3-2.
