Well, the Accord is my secondary car so I don't drive it very often. The other night I went out with some friends and we took the Accord so we could all fit. I drove it home that night and everything was fine.

Yesterday however, I hopped in her to go fishing and it was going ******* nuts. The dash is going craaaazy. The sports mode blinks on and off, the check engine light is on, the oil light blinks on and off and the speedometer/mileage isn't working.

Someone please tell me this is a simple wiring problem or some other easy fix, I don't want to have to throw more money into that car

A lot of times when a bunch of lights go crazy like that it means your alternator is taking a dump. I would go have it checked at some auto parts store. You could also have a ground that corroded to death or something. Check all your grounds and get that alternator checked.

 

I just had the alternator replaced about 3-4 months ago.... uggghh this ******* car.

 

did you use a honda alternator ????? or some cheap autozone brand
take back to whomever installed it and have it checked just to make sure it is ok
could also have some sort of a ground issue

 

I used a honda alternator. I will have someone check it. Is the alternator also the cause of the speedometer not working?

 

I AM SURE IF IT WAS A HONDA ALT WILL BE OK YOU MIGHT HAVE A BAD GROUND SOMEWHERE

 

I would also have the battery checked, just in case.
