it's when the lobes on your aftermarket cams push your stock valves and springs down too far. the bottom of you valves then hit the top of your pistons. your stock valve springs are not meant to hold the push down force of aftermarket cams.

OK, never heard that term before. I was thinking it was the other way around where they would be stuck open.
