i've noticed quiet a few people have black hoods on their hondas. Does this usually indicate a carbon fiber hood or is it just the stylish thing to do? The same question goes for the black bumpers/front ends I've seen.

If this is the case, why not paint the carbon fiber? does paint just not stick to it?

Black bumper = stock color from factory in most cases

my favorite was a couple days ago,..."well if you only paint the hood black and not the rest of the car, won't it cause the engine to overheat?" maybe I shouldn't have used quotes, but I'm not too far off

Painting a carbon fiber hood is just stupid.
Most people that have black hoods either have a carbon fiber hood, a new stock hood, or just want to look cool.

the black paint has to be primer w/ atleast 10 coats... to properly absorb the radar radio wave and to absorb lazer light too!
