My ECU light and check engine light blinks rapidly when the key is turned on and will blink indefinite until key is turned off. Im not sure what this meand but I just installed a d16 that i just rebuilt and found out the ecu that was in was fried because of a faulty VAFC. I have installed another pm6 ecu that i bought off of ebay and thats when i got this code. Is it a bad ecu? did not give a code with the old ecu!

 

Can you count the amount of times the led on the ecu flashes? Post up your results and someone can help you.

 

The rapid blink at the beginning is normal, completely disregard that.

What you want to do is count the number of times the ecu blinks repeatedly after that.
