lol...AEM and all those other name brand stuff is worth crap! Why pay $200+ dollars on a piece of junk when you can buy a cheap intke on ebay for 15 bucks and slap ona K & N filter! It will out perform any intake name brand. Dyno proven!
OR you can do what I did and slap on Dualie Intakes!

yeah i know the whole intake deal...just not familiar with the front-mounts...didn't know if they were actually functional or not. running a short ram aem i got for $30 right now
the only reason i compare to AEM is because that's all i'm used to dealing with due to retarded CA smog laws.

I know this thread is old and FMI have been discussed a lot, but does anyone actually have one?? I've heard a lot of ppl say they suck, but nobody who uses one has said anything.

A) He is in California where all aftermarket intakes must be CARB-certified to pass visual emissions inspection. AEM is CARB legal - generic eBay intakes aren't.
B) A generic intake with a cotton gauze filter is not going to "outperform any" name brand intake. At best, performace will be the same. Why? Because for the most part, it's the same ****.

Well, yea. If you get on your hands and knees and do your best to see what is behind the bumper or if you pop the hood. But otherwise they're hidden.
