Check all ground straps on engine(tranny,head and engine wiring harness ground on the thermosat housing)

Check main power lead off of the battery to the Alt(white wire secured with 10mm nut) could be loose or in my buddys case at expo 5 broken off

Check and see if Alt. is charging

Just my 2 cents, good luck
