gsr motor is it a good deal??!?!?!

Default gsr motor is it a good deal??!?!?!

this guys is selling a complete gsr swap for 2500$ to be put into my 98 EK..it has 80G miles came from a 98 model integ..good deal or no? and can i get it BAR to make it legit if so wat do i need? thanks

for $2500 it's a good deal. Just make sure that it's a complete swap including mounts, ecu, harness, axles, linkage, etc. You just don't want all the extras to add up. Also, at 80,000 miles (even though it should have been done already) make sure the timing belt has been changed. As far as passing BAR, well the first thing is that you'll need paperwork saying where the motor came from and that it's not stolen, second the motor needs to be installed completely and correctly with all sensors and emissions crap functioning right. yes that's the most important part , make sure u do the proper maintenance since its kinda high in mileage...also u should save a couple hundred on the side in case something goes wrong. believe me something will go wrong. if the motor is udsm and is 98 or newer then u should be able to BAR. if it's jdm then ur gonna have to put in more work

hey thanks a lot guys...u guys know how the gsr motor will run in a EK?? will it catch any traction? cause one of my friend did an LS swap and it ran like crap..so he went with a b16 instead..u guys have any personal experience or have any info? if so please feel free to post thanks
