Squealing Noise
my car lately has been making some squealing noises during idle and low speeds. it doesn't seem to be coming from the belts but it's coming from something on the drivers side near the tire. any ideas what it could be or what's wrong? thanks!
a mouse maybe, J/K. try getting a stetoscope(around the neck of the doctor), take off the round thing in the end of the hose, then run scope along the car and see where noise is coming from. good luck.
If its coming from the drivers side when the car is also sitting still and idling then it MUST be coming from the belt area of the engine.
Accesory belts, idler pulleys, power and A/C pumps, Timing belt.......
In order for it to be the brake wear indocators it can't be doing it while sitting still.
