d16y8 stock exhaust manifold polishable as the jdm itr manifold?
Can a stock y8 exhaust manifold be cleaned up and polished to the same extent as the jdm itr manifolds? Are they the same material?
itr is tubular and the d series manifold is casted so it probably wont work.. why not get an aftermarket one?

Cause I got it for 30 bucks. Don't really feel the need for an aftermarket one just yet. Right now I am in the process of converting my dx exhaust to utilize the standard cat underneath the car and needed a cheap header to go with it. Besides, I feel it's a good upgrade from the dx manifold/cat.
I just read somewhere that the primaries are made of either cast iron or mild-steel tubing.
