HELP??? WARRANTY WON"T COVER
Just brought my gsr 2 months ago.... beening the 2nd or 3rd owner......i was driving on the freeway at 110 mph for 5 min... got off to a club then suddenly check engine light up....... misfire on cinlinder #4.....my valves were bent..... warranty said i must of over revvvvvvvv it... i told them i just brought it and since gas price was high to save gas i wouldn't even let the v-tech kick and still they wouldn't believe me...... should i refund my my contract???????????
first driving 110 for 5 min? why? second its vtec not v-tech, any way bent valves usually do come from over reving the car or if it jumped time. its gonna be hard to convince someone you were not ragging the **** out of the car when this happened since you were driving 110, most people dont just drive along casually at this speed.
just raise hell dude.. if you have a warranty and something fucked up then they have to fix it. they cant prove how you were driving it.. id be all up in there like swim wear telling them they sold me a bunk car.
You guys really think it's that bad to do 110? If there is no one else on the road and the tires have been checked, I don't see how this would hurt the car. Unless he put it into 3rd gear @ 110... That would explain everything. What year is it? And how is it still under warranty?

i gotta give u **** too. going 110 is just plain stupid. i gotta 4 year old daughter and i dont care if ur a fellow HT member. if u put my daughter in jeopardy, i will kill u. now for ur question. i work for a nissan dealer. if a dealer doesnt want to cover ur part(s) as warranty as stated in ur contract, u can take the matter to BBB or attorney general. but u fucked up.
Well i had some bad experiences with warrenty companies myself to tell the truth they suck! Most warrenty companies will start to void parts of your warrenty if you have "aftermarket equipment" on your car. As well as they are going to do whatever they can to not pay for anything that breaks especially if you drive a nice import with lots of aftermarket equipment... So my best advice to you is to cancel that warrenty before its to late and get a full refund

you can buy used cars with warranties. imo your probably screwed, return the warranty and put it towards repair :/
